Shining Light Records is an independent record label owned and operated by its sole artist, PIUMA (pronounced py-ooma) a.k.a. David J. Small. We create music that unites and uplifts. PIUMA’s music is inspired by Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Bob Marley as well as U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Ben Harper; It’s SoCal Jamrock--with roots in rock, funk, soul, and reggae. Shining Light Records markets, promotes, and distributes PIUMA’s music and also raises funds for not-for-profit organizations through its benefit concert foundation.
